Bathtub Wedge To Correct Straight Tub

Claudine pals and Verses

Last Friday, I made a second stop at Happening Gourmand . Reclining in a round table in a dim light, the evening was perfect for dinner with new friends Verses.

Around 21 h 15, Stephanie, Jeremiah Beatrice and myself have met Danisha , Matthew (his lover) and Aurélie this restaurant in the Old Montreal. Question to loosen his tongue and well get to know each initially chose his favorite drink.

As part of the Happening, the Verses offers two guest tables, one for $ 27 and the other at $ 37. In our group, the table d'hote least onerous was the most popular.

For starters, I tasted the soup of the moment and its fittings, that is to say, a soup of sweet potatoes, butternut squash and curry. The smooth blend of flavors warms ears and heart. In short, it tastes like comfort.

The romaine salad with shrimp matane is also an excellent choice. The chef does not skimp on the amount of small crustaceans Gaspe.

The flap was the toast of the evening. Bathed in the sauce and cooked as requested, the beef was quite tender. My favorite? The small dish of melted cheese dipped in which the potatoes. That's what I call a clever and tasty accompaniment!

desserts, chocolate and mint soufflé was refreshing. For my part, I chose canolli ricotta and they just played their role. They were not too sweet, creamy and crunchy at once.

The portions were fairly well calculated. At the end of the meal, nobody wanted to ride to Metro Place d'Armes. That said, the word "relatively" is the fact that boys were not satisfied to 100% but rather 92%. Finally, for the truly special is one, I suggest you opt for the table d'hote $ 27. The $ 10 extra for the other table d'hote is, in my opinion, not very justified ...

Funny fact of the evening: The server offered us a drink, and without map and priceless. One of us ordered a Kir Royal. Upon obtaining an addition, this person had a good memory salty Verses. $ 24 for a kir made with Veuve Cliquot ... Ouch! The funniest part? The table d'hote was $ 27 ...
