Last day of the Route du Rock, as usual sleeping in rain & are the perfect combination. We still decides to get motivated to 14h to get to concert Karaocake at the Beach, finally, at the Palais du Grand Large, given the "good weather", but did not count on Morpheus we won in a nap up to 16h ... FAIL , as they say. The rest of the afternoon was to busy to tour the campsite photographing tents / unusual people, watching the wrestling match between two safety officers and a workshop with scissors cutting knife Swiss ...

A Mexican wrap in the belly, I'm immediately much more carefully and seriously this concert is the only festival that I really did not like from beginning to end. Overplay it-wrong-and besides shoegaze galore has compounded my annoyance at this concert soporific side.
The National @ La Route du Rock 2010 ensued almost single reason for my coming to the RDR, The National . After seeing them at Zenith 1st part of Pavement , I could not not see them again. Say High Purple transported me is an understatement. Since the first night when I heard I can do without. This was predictable given the effect that made me Alligator , Boxer and Sad Songs For Dirty Lovers before. So I attend the 2nd row at the concert, determined to make sing "Sorrow" this time (my favorite High Purple ). Classes, Matt Berninger and his henchmen arrive on stage in costumes, to the applause of an audience already conquered. And apart the 3 alcoholic brawling behind me, this concert was just pure happiness. It starts off like a wheel with "Runaway," the melancholy at all costs. For his third came to the fort, The National feels a little like home, thanking the French public for having believed in them first (crowing) and goes up on stage to a " from Sebastian Toulouse, the guy With The Mets blue tshirt "no I'm not dead jealousy. After such a performance I can only be disappointed by the following groups but did not count on the Flaming Lips . Level show we were served. Whether the group's arrival, straight out a giant screen, the slam of Wayne Coyne (singer) in its giant transparent ball, the bear that eventually led him on all balloons, confetti and streamers other launched on the public way carnival giant. Not forgetting the time when the public is put to good for imitating animals. Level regression was served. Although personally music is a little faded into the background (except perhaps on "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots" and "Do You Realize ??"), I keep this concert a memorable one, where I smiled as a child from beginning to end.
Glitter still filled eyes, I'm more excited than ever to The Rapture. Close the RDR 2010 and go after Flaming Lips, it's been a bit much. Yet again the magic post-disco funk operates, revelers forget the fatigue and dance again and again, especially on the tubes that are "The Devil", "Echoes" or "The House Of Jealous Lovers". When the show ends we would like that thing all over again, but it's time to go to bed, there's that bump the next day.
